Position Summary
The Superintendent is the on-site leader for residential rehabilitation and reconstruction projects, ensuring that work is performed safely, to specification, and on schedule. This position requires a hands-on manager who can oversee subcontractor crews, coordinate daily activities, and serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners during construction.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations at assigned construction sites.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractor activities to ensure steady progress.
- Communicate with homeowners on-site to address questions and concerns.
- Monitor safety compliance and enforce site safety rules.
- Review and implement project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Identify and resolve construction issues in coordination with the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
- Track punch-list items and drive completion for project closeout.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of field supervision in residential construction.
- Familiarity with federally funded housing programs (FEMA, HUD, CDBG-DR) preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; mobile field software experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with homeowners, crews, and clients.
